If you're a motorsport fan, you already know how important the 1966 24-hours of Le Mans was, both for Ford and for Ferrari. Bruce McLaren's win has been mired in controversy ever since, but there's no denying the incredible work Ford did in producing the GT40.
Presented in A3 landscape format (420mm x 297mm), this piece was hand-drawn and coloured digitally. It shows Bruce McLaren's GT40 alongside a Ferrari P3 on the Mulsanne Straight as the sun sets in the background.
Printed on a high-grade, museum-quality substrate made from blended bamboo and cotton. Bamboo is a natural, sustainable and environmentally friendly white paper made from 90% bamboo fibres and 10% cotton, resulting in warm-tones without optical brighteners.
The paper is acid and Lignin-free, which meets the requirements of an age resistant paper and is printed on pre-cut sheets using an inkjet, 12 colour Giclée print process, providing in-depth reproduction of colours and fine details.
For shipping, it is carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and packaged in a hardback paper envelope. All of the packaging used is plastic free, too!
